POKÉMON NEWSFLASH – April 9th, 2026 – The Pokémon Company announces the launch of Pokémon TCG: Rare Art Collection 5, introducing a stunning selection of extended art cards that gamer and collector communities have awaited with bated breath! These striking designs will be available in the Special Art Slot in every booster pack, along with a host of exclusive cards.
Rare Art Collection 5 promises a captivating set featuring approximately 80 collectible cards that includes both current top-tier competitive options and nostalgic favorites. From Pikachu VMAX to Charizard GX, and even Lugia, this collection represents an incredible opportunity for trainers to enhance their decks with meta-relevant additions.
Each five-card pack includes four cards drawn from an extensive variety of rarities, ranging from Standard, Rare, and Holo to the highly coveted Ultra and Secret Rares, with some exclusive “Shiny” variants native to this collection. Additionally, the 5th card will contain a unique extended art variant featuring distinctive graphics and layouts.
Many of the variant art cards in this collection come with engaging phrases reminiscent of popular catchphrases found in various media, presented in both English and Japanese. Each card features revamped backgrounds, accentuated details, and innovative zoom effects exclusive to Rare Art Collection 5.
Notably, this edition sees the debut of extended art cards in the Pokémon TCG. Ten popular characters boast expansive artwork that stretches from top to bottom and side to side, showcasing beloved Pokémon like Gardevoir, Dragonite, Espeon, and Umbreon.
