Excitement is brewing in the world of Pokémon TCG as Greninja takes center stage in the highly-anticipated Chaos Rising expansion. However, it’s not the only star from Kalos—Delphox and Chesnaught are also making waves with their unique mega forms introduced in Pokémon Legends Z-A. While details on Mega Chesnaught’s TCG release are scarce, Southeast Asian players can look forward to the arrival of Mega Delphox EX as part of an exclusive promotion starting this May.
Beginning May 1st, Mega Delphox will be featured in the Gym Promo Card Pack 4. This special pack is awarded to participants of Pokémon TCG tournaments in Southeast Asia. These Gym promo cards, marked with a distinctive blue stamp in the corner, are considered relatively rare collectibles.
While Mega Delphox stands out as the highlight of Gym Promo Card Pack 4, collectors can also look forward to reprints of intriguing cards like Shaymin from Destined Rivals and Dawn from Phantasmal Flames.
For those who might not collect foreign language cards, there’s good news: previous Gym promo cards have gradually made their way to Western markets in English editions. For instance, the popular Lapras ex from Perfect Order was initially part of Gym Promo Card Pack 1, which was available from August 2025 until October 2025. It saw a subsequent international release in March 2026, illustrating the typical 7-month gap between promotional and full release.
Are you eager to secure Mega Delphox upon its release, or do you prefer waiting for the English iteration? Or perhaps you’re a die-hard Chesnaught fan? We would love to hear your thoughts on the Wargamer Discord server.
